The good thing about firefox is you can get alot of add-ons for it. One of which is an Internet Explorer extension. This means you can open web pages in IE format. The link is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...

Once you get the extension go to Tools--IE Tab Options, then add in the URL of the link you want to open up as internet explorer, and it will do it every time. If you just want to change it when you want at the bottom right of the screen will be a little firfox symbol if you click that it will change to IE

check your firewall settings.
u must update mozilla firefox. go to help%26gt;check for updates.if it doesn't help,reinstall it
some chartrooms dont have code which are compatible with firefox. this is very common with many other sites, that are only compatible with ie. there is nothing wrong with your pc or anything. its just a compatibility issue

Check your homepage settings - Tools, Internet Options, Home Page. Sounds like you have something there. Remove whatever is in your Home Page setting.

I don't like the way Firefox arranges its bookmarks. How can I make it work like the new IE boo

So I was using Internet Explorer 6 (or whatever is the brand-new one) recently and I love how the favorites list is set up, on the left side with the little scroll bar that makes finding things really fast. Anyway, I just downloaded Firefox 'cause IE is slow and kind of crappy and sucks up memory, but I hate that it uses the old crappy bookmark system, where you have to scroll for like 20 minutes to get to the end of your bookmark list because you can't jump there. Is there something I can download to make the bookmarks thinger on Firefox more like IE's?

I'm not sure, but that is one of Firefox's features have yet to get used to.
I would suggest if you are familiar with IE then Download and use IE7. You'll find Firefox lacks alot of the ability to properly view things online, and I also don't care for it's bookmark setup.

Use Avant Browser. It does everything that Firefox can do and more. It works with IE so the bookmarks work the same.

I'm an Avant Browser fan all the way. As far as I'm concerned nothing else even comes close. I've used several others, but any feature that's worth having is included in Avant Browser in an intuitive and easy to use way. It is also the only browser I've found that works flawlessly with EVERY site and software I've encountered. It has no spyware, no extra junk and is extremely customizable. I love it. I feel crippled using the Internet without it. If I am using another computer for some reason the 1st thing I do is download and install it (this only takes a minute or 2). It saves all my custom settings online so I can just enter a user ID and password and I'm good to go on any computer I use.

Have you tried any of the themes for Firefox yet? There is a theme for Fire Fox that makes it look very much the same as Internet Exploder. I use the Noia Extreme 2.0 Theme. Click on tools, then add-ons in Fire Fox.

Why should you use Fire Fox instead of IE?

Internet Explorer is built in to the operating system. If something goes really wrong with IE you'll have to reformat and re-install your OS.

If Fire Fox goes really south you uninstall it, reboot and re-install it.

I am not familiar with the term floating average. Could that possibly be "moving average"? Better known as the 200 day moving average. One of the concepts of technical analysis is indeed that when a stock price crossed the 200 day moving average, that is a potential buy signal. TD Ameritrade has software called "StrategyDesk" where you can set up an alert when the stock price crosses a particular moving average. You can even have the software automatically buy the stock for you if you like. Not something I would recommend however. The software is meant really for short term traders and not long term term traders, so the 200 day moving average is not in the predefined library, rather the 10 day. But you can define your own strategy and you can back test it to see how it works.

There are stock screening tools available that you can use to give you this information. My favorite is the one provided by Fidelity. It shows 126 stocks just crossing the 200 sma.

You have to be very careful using such tools. Stocks will whip saw you. That term means they will cross the moving average and then they will drop back below it. RATE has crossed the 200 day average 7 times since Aug 1. A strategy to mitigate this possibility is to set a criteria that it must have crossed by a least a certain % or $ amount before you jump in.

I don't know where you received this 'warning,' but it sounds like you have a virus or spyware. I would run a virus scan and a spyware scan as soon as you can.

Then you need to contact the people who maintain EACH of those websites, and have them edit the page to remove your name.

You would have to click Ctrl+H and then locate each and every link regarding Google and delete each link one by one. It'd proabably just be easier to delete all history.
